Jordan is an Asheville-based maternal health occupational therapist and babywearing educator with a passion for helping parents find joy in their daily routines. She became inspired to start Motherhood Therapy Services & The Babywearing OT in 2023 while seeing the gaps in the perinatal care continuum after giving birth to her son.

Before founding The Babywearing OT, her career as an OT included roles in acute care, adult behavioral health, inpatient rehabilitation, and multiple skilled nursing facilities, where she most recently served as an Interim Rehab Director. She completed her babywearing consultant training with The Center for Babywearing Studies in February of 2024.

When she’s not working, you can find Jordan caring for her plants, exploring local restaurants and boba tea shops, and spending afternoons on the couch, nap trapped.

  • Occupational therapy focuses on the things you want and need to do in your daily life. OT uses your everyday routines and activities that are meaningful to you to help you problem solve the areas you need help with. OTs can help with physical and mental health, sensory needs, and cognition.

  • Babywearing consultants are individuals who are trained and knowledgeable in assisting families with learning how to babywear, select carriers, bond with their child, and understand safety and troubleshooting when babywearing.

  • At this time, The Babywearing OT is a cash-based, out of network provider. Acting as a cash-based provider allows me to really spend a lot of time and energy to invest in your needs outside of the constraints typically placed by insurance. Sliding scale payments and payment plans are available.

  • My availability is posted 3 months in advance on my booking site. You may book as soon as 24 hours from now or as far as 3 months out, depending on your needs.

    In general, I am available Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:30-6:30, Tuesday and Thursday evenings for virtual appointments, and weekends by appointment. Heading to my booking site to see my current availability.
